ANUPREKSHAA BISWAS
Licensed Clinical Psychologist (RCI) | Founder & Director, MANASMITA
I believe every individual deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and accepted before they are ever asked to heal. To me, therapy is not about fixing people or offering quick solutions—it is about walking alongside them with compassion, curiosity, and respect as they navigate life's challenges and reconnect with their own inner strengths.
My journey into psychology has been guided by a deep fascination with the human mind and an unwavering belief in the power of genuine human connection. Over the years, I have come to realise that healing is not simply about reducing distress; it is about helping people understand themselves more deeply, build resilience, and cultivate a kinder relationship with themselves. This philosophy continues to shape not only my work as a Clinical Psychologist but also every interaction I have with those who place their trust in me.
Professionally, I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), committed to providing ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based psychological care. I hold a Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PDCP) from Amity Institute of Clinical Psychology, Amity University, Haryana, where I graduated as a Gold Medalist. I also completed my B.A. and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Amity University, Noida, and have further pursued advanced training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Trauma-Informed Practice, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). As a Heartfulness practitioner, I value mindfulness, presence, and inner balance, principles that complement my therapeutic work while remaining firmly grounded in evidence-based psychological practice.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working across hospitals, rehabilitation settings, NGOs, online mental health platforms, and private practice, supporting adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of psychological concerns. My work has also extended beyond the therapy room. I have collaborated with Experion to conduct Stress Management and Work–Life Balance programmes, while also providing individual psychological consultations to employees in support of workplace mental well-being. These experiences have strengthened my belief that quality mental healthcare should be accessible not only in clinical settings but also within our communities and workplaces.
At MANASMITA, my commitment is to offer a therapeutic space where you feel safe to share your story, explore your experiences without fear of judgment, and move towards meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you are taking your first step into therapy or continuing your journey of self-discovery, it would be a privilege to walk alongside you.
Every person carries a story worth listening to. It would be an honour to hear yours.
Sometimes, the bravest step isn't having all the answers—it's choosing to begin the conversation.
