Clinical services are provided by appropriately qualified professionals associated with MANASMITA. The specific professional, service format, availability, duration, and fees will depend on the appointment or service selected.

2. APPOINTMENTS

Appointments are subject to availability and are confirmed only after the booking process has been completed and the appointment has been reviewed or confirmed by MANASMITA.

Appointment timings, duration, fees, and mode of consultation will be communicated as applicable at the time of booking.

For in-person appointments, the available partner clinic location may vary depending on appointment availability. The applicable location will be confirmed before the scheduled session.

3. ONLINE CONSULTATIONS

Online consultations may be conducted through third-party video-conferencing or communication platforms.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have a suitable device, internet connection, and private environment for an online session.

While reasonable steps are taken to maintain confidentiality, online communication may involve risks associated with internet connectivity and third-party technology.

4. FEES AND PAYMENTS

Fees for services are displayed on the website where applicable.

Certain services, particularly psychological assessments, may have variable fees depending on the nature and scope of the assessment, the number of tools required, and reporting requirements. A personalised fee may therefore be communicated after discussing your requirements.

Where advance payment is required, the appointment will be confirmed in accordance with the applicable payment and booking process.

5. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.

Requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment, as well as missed appointments, may be subject to the full session fee.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact MANASMITA as early as possible.

Any refund, cancellation, or rescheduling will be handled according to the applicable service and booking terms communicated at the time of appointment.

6. PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES

Psychological care is a collaborative process and outcomes may vary between individuals.

Information provided through this website is intended for general informational purposes and does not constitute a diagnosis, medical advice, or a substitute for an individual psychological or psychiatric evaluation.

A professional assessment is required to determine whether a particular service is appropriate for an individual.

7. EMERGENCY AND CRISIS SUPPORT

MANASMITA is not an emergency or crisis intervention service.

The website, contact form, email, and appointment system should not be used for urgent or emergency mental-health concerns, including situations involving imminent risk of suicide or serious self-harm.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital or emergency department.

For 24/7 mental-health support in India, you may contact Tele-MANAS at 14416 or 1800-89-14416.

8. PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS

Psychological assessments are selected according to the individual's referral concerns and professional requirements.

The type of assessment, number of tools, duration, reporting requirements, and associated fees may vary.

An assessment does not automatically result in a particular diagnosis or outcome. Findings are interpreted in the context of the individual's history, presenting concerns, and the assessment process.

9. CONFIDENTIALITY

MANASMITA respects the confidentiality and privacy of individuals who use its services.

Confidentiality is maintained in accordance with applicable professional, ethical, and legal requirements. There may be circumstances in which information may need to be disclosed where required or permitted by applicable law or where necessary to address serious safety concerns.
